This project is an imaginary story which reflects and critiques a part of our real world. Having as starting point the expenses and inequality levels in the 2020 London, the proposal has a dual purpose:

The first is the design of an ideal contemporary working environment inside an existing building: a series of programs and experiences are being imagined and volumes are added to the current structure, aiming to redefine the relation between the building and its context.

The second is the reminder that architecture is interconnected with each political and economic context. In this case, the Basement reflects social issues that not only exist, but on which, maybe, our reality is based.

Responding to the Studio’s topic, this project creates value for the Company, through the lives of “No Matter Whos”.
